𓁺Izabella 𓁺Arnquist𓁺 Art

Bella Arnquist is a Southern Californian based artist who primarily works with oil paint and digital brushes. Bella received her art education at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she learned technical skills of lighting, color theory, plein art and life drawing. In the maximalist quality of painting, her work explores the alchemical play of colorful images held in gentle worship in dreams and patterned memories. There is a focus on the way spirituality and imagination can be envisioned in complex environments, how details become overlapped to illustrate the world’s overstimulating energies. In the process of discovery and creating art, she contemplates nature’s design to weave, tear, and rebuild as she explores the many ways animist spiritualism can be represented in geometry, spiritual imagery, and patterning.
